Haiku/Shayari(शायरी) : Just cairn! Not mountain!

Haiku:

Arranged scattered stones,
titles it a “master piece”. Pfff!
Just cairn, not mountain!

Don’t be so proud man,
You are mere flicking flame! Pfff!
Just a lamp, not Sun!

Bubble on water;
Life so fragile, so frail Pfff!
Just a drop, not flood!

You know to join words;
You call that “poetry” Pfff!
Just wind gust, not storm!

Shayari/

English Version:

By gathering pebbles you have built a fort,
By gathering pebbles you have built a fort,
It’s just a pile, not a mountain.

Don’t be so proud about your flame,
Don’t be so proud about your flame,
You are just a lamp, Not the sun.

Life is just bubble on water,
Life is just bubble on water.
You are just a drop, not the flood.

By joining the words you call it “poetry”,
By joining the words you call it “poetry”,
You are just a passing gust, not the storm.

PS: We should take pride in our work and appreciate our worth. But when fall too much in love with our own work, we

  • Become prideful and boastful, ignore prudent advice.
  • Forget humility: We forget how minuscule our contribution is to the collective human achievement, or matter of fact the mighty universe. Also that our work will be surpassed by someone someday. i.e  Fragility and transience of our work. Just a pile of stones; A cairn.
  • Ill-treat others: We look down on others and their contribution. We become hard to work with and are shunned by everyone.
  • Become delusional : We build “Castles in air” and plan on things that are based on mind fabricated facts and reality. “Megalomania”

“Before the fall comes the pride”
