तन्हाई की रात (Night of loneliness)

आप का नाम ना ले तो नींद नहीं आती,
ये कमबख्त ख्वाब बसते नहीं आँखों मे,
जब तक, आपके लिए दिल से दुआ नहीं जाती।

रिश्ता यूँ आपसे बनगया है दोस्ती का,
दूर होके भी ख़यालोंसे आपकी महक नहीं जाती।

आज चाँद खफा खफा है सितारों से,
उसे भी ये तन्हाई रास नहीं आती।

भूल गए है आवारा जुगनू टिमटिमाना,
इन्हे भी ये किस्मत की संगदिली पसंद नहीं आती।

संभल गए है हम आप से जुदा हो कर भी, मगर वक़्तसे,
इस रात की गुज़रने की इजाज़त नहीं आती।
